Johnson looked awful and has most of this year. He wasn't very good in the first half last year either though and had a much better second half. I'm guessing he'll turn it around even though its pretty obvious that he'll probably never be the lights out pitcher he was most of his career again. He's what 42? though, a decline was pretty predictable.

Tanyon Sturtze is a wasted roster spot though. They need to give up on that guy. I guessing he'll be the first guy to go though once Pavano or Dotel can be activated in a month or so. I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen sooner if he has a few more outings like that.

On a related note, I was running about an hour late coming to the office this morning and left the house forgetting to tivo the game. I still turned the car around and went home to tivo it. go yanks.
