I was blasting Tilt earlier today. I haven't heard a note from his new one yet. I'm planning on it being one of the very few new releases that I buy in the near future.

Think I will. Won't have spare bucks to buy it for a couple of weeks but really want to hear it this week.

Doesn't come out until May 23 so you're good for now.

Heh. This is what you get when you click on Treble's message board link:

This the best release of the year so far... but I'm biased. It's darker and creepier than Tilt but his voice sounds fresher. 10 years off will do that I suppose.

I can try and get this up on sendspace in the morning.

This past winter I picked up Scott 4, and it turned into a heavy rotation disc for me. My interest got picqued initially when Autumn Defense name dropped him and the Walker Bros. as albums they were addicted to. This is on my priority pick up list fo' sho.

Walker in the 90s/00s is completely different than Walker in the 60s. Just a warning.

I recommend that you buy it either way though.

Oh yeah I know. 60s=more torch songy. I can dig how he's changed.

I think the only Walker I have is the one Odds uploaded a while back. I need more. I might be picking up the new one, and I'll definitely be seeking out the earlier ones and Tilt.

Holy crap this album is dark!
Not saying that it's bad or anything, but coming straight from 60's scott walker it is a bit shocking. even if i'd never heard 60's walker, this album would still be shockingly dark.

I listened to it first thing this morning. It's bizarre and really great.
