Been listening to this on repeat the past few days, and it's absolutely outstanding. I know a few of you have his debut album "Unomia."

If you're a fan of gentle ambient with percussion, strings, acoustic guitar, and and just a warm and emotional vibe, I think you'll be into this. Very rich, and deep. At times sounding like the melodic and softer end of Mogwai, the ambience of Sigur Ros, Max Richter type emotion, the prettier parts of Boards of Canada, and Eno'ish stylings. It's really fantastic music.

I posted a tune from it on my music blog, but felt compelled to rave about it in a seperate thread.

It's released next month on Type Records.

So Dalen, do you have any tracks uploaded that I can hear? I haven't heard anything by Helios. Your description makes me want to.

Dalen, I gave it a listen and thought it was great. It reminded me a little of The Album Leaf and Mum. Do you like either of those bands? Please, if you can, let me hear the whole album. spanks.

yeah, it does sound a bit like the more delicate moments from The Album Leaf.

will get the full album to you later today.

awesome. Thanks a lot. Will it be m4a or a format that won't easily work in MusicMatch? If so, then don't bother because I won't be able to hear it, you know?
