 Post subject: I'm Coming To Chicago In September.

I'll be visiting some friends in Orland Park. Does anyone know of any nice hotels in that area? And how far is it from downtown Chicago?

Orland Park is about 30-45 minutes from downtown, depending upon traffic.
Although it will probably be even longer with the ongoing construction on the Ryan Expressway.

Hope I get to see you when you're in, though.

I'd love to but I'll only be there for a couple of days. I have a wedding on Sunday and a dinner on Saturday night so I'm pretty booked for the weekend. And I won't have a car so it won't be possible to drive to you guys.

What I'll do is set up another one of those Obner-only visits I had last August so we can hang out.

He could take 55 to Lake Shore Drive. It's still not a short trip, but at least he won't have to deal with the Dan Ryan.
