Sun is in a class by herself where I find her too awesome to label "hot."

She's on-a-pedestal quality wimmin.

How can Sawyer's terrible acting and consistently cheesy lines not detract from his hotness? He makes me cringe every time he opens his mouth.

Terrible acting is not something I see in the man, especially since Holloway himself is urbane, pleasant and not the least bit wahoo when you see him on talk shows.

Who's Goodwin? And what about DriveShaft-era Charlie? Or DJ Qualls as Hurley's pal from the Chicken Shack? (haha)

Yeah, and his lines are all GOLD, JERRY, GOLD! "Union trouble down at the sand factory, Norma Rae?," is the funniest line I've seen on TV all year.

np: Clem Snide - "Nick Drake Tape"

Wait a minute, I thought she impaled Sawyer...ohhhhhhhhhhhh, that was the other way around!

My hot ranking is:

1. Kate

2. Shannon (counting looks only)
3. Claire (still wish she'd go the way of Shannon and get killed)

Just read this on the NYTimes site about next season:

Quote:
Mr. McPherson also announced that ABC intended to program "Lost" this season so that the yearlong story line is not interrupted by repeats. He said the show would open with about seven straight original episodes and then take a break for several months, while ABC introduces a new series called "Day Break" on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. Then "Lost" will return in January or February with more new episodes.

That sounds lame. I heard they were planning on doing like 2 or 3 "chapters" next year to make the season flow better with the long breaks. I think it only hurts ratings. Having breaks like they do really hurts the momentum once the season starts.

God damn it. Can't they follow 24's example and show new episodes week to week, with no breaks?

I guess that wouldn't be as profitable.

What did Alex Rousseau say to Michael during that brief moment they were alone? I missed it.

Michael gonna kill some Others if he don't get Dat Boat.

Hurley's not going to be one to be messed with. He's been pushed past the "dude" stage.

Locke's going to find out what's really going on with the island while everyone else is fighting.

Jin needs something to do.

Rose needs to find out her brother's dead.

Alex is going to be more important.

That Other Interrogator Lady isn't going to live long.

Desmond's going to be a key to piecing the "why" together.

Harold Perrineau's a better actor than some people thought.

Malcom David Kelly will have his own show within two years. Probably a sitcom, though.

Jack and Sawyer bond over dead girls, how sweet.

Bring on Clancy Brown, already.

She asked if Claire was alright and if the baby was a boy or a girl

Michael is totally damned. I kind of hope Walt gets killed now after all that. I couldn't believe him saying to Hurley: "They KILLED her, Hugo!" and then getting all huffy when he wasn't willing to go along with his lie to get captured and/or killed by The Others. Seriously, death to Walt, he's more trouble than he's worth.

I agree. Though if my son were abducted and I were desperate, who knows what I'd think then.

I don't think I could contribute to the deaths of 2 or possibly even 6 innocent people for my own ends, but yeah who knows when you're there.

Was that whole thing staged when Walt said, "They're not who they say they are. Help me, get me out of here!" If so, is he on their side?

I think you guys might be missing the point that there is something exceptional about Walt.

And why aren't we discussing why Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley are so significant?
