So what do you think?

Simple curiousity, outlandish boredom, and an insipid desire to increase my post count are the driving forces behind this dumb poll.

I've done the fourth option, but nowadays much prefer the last. Oh how to vote?

I saw the George Martin quote posted by aero. I like to think that John and Paul were smart enough to know that if they wrote it like that, asshats like all of us would still be debating it nigh on 40 years later. And THAT is genius, bubba.

Julian's drawing inspired the song about LSD.

I don't know if it's about LSD but I bet he was on it when he wrote it.

On a somewhat, but not really, related note...

I love the Lennon interview where he swears that when they were laying down Get Back McCartney kept lookin' over at Yoko...

Sure. Sure. Whatever. Ok.

But, did John or Paul ever do acid once a day for something like on a year straight, a la Ozzy? I think not.

Plus, "Paranoid" is a much better drug song.

Score: Sabbath 2, Beatles 0.

AND....LITSWD barely qualifies as a drug song; The Violent Femmes are better acid music.

And the Surfers.

And God. And the bible.

I'm only going to take issue with The Femmes... Can we disagree on that one?
