Any of you guys seen them play?

The debut album is pretty darn good. They sound like a cross between Kings Of Leon, The Who & Creedence.

EDIT- Add a few tracks in a while.

Heard OF them, and have probably heard a few songs though I can't remember how they go.

They've been getting a bit of press lately though.

Yeah, not really helpful I know

What do they sound like? I've read a couple of reviews and didn't really interest me - I think maybe more of the retro sound? Dunno, can't remember the details

They sound like The Who/Kings of Leon, and dare i say it, the singer sounds a little bit like the guy from Jet.

Album is a lot of fun, not sure if it has a lot of staying power with me, but for now it rocks.

Or The Who & Creedence.

Good enough for you.

If not shut the fuck up.

Aussie RollingStone loves them. I think i should stay away.

Having said that, i've never actually heard them.

I liked these guys. It thought it was pretty solid throughout (and not reminiscent of Jet at all). I'll definitely be giving it a few more listens. I was actually more reminded of Urge Overkill and (at times) Queens of the Stone Age. And for myself I was a bit surprised to find myself drawn in to the music the more I listened. I think most albums tended to get toploaded and after about 2/3rds of the way the gas is running low. I thought it really kicked in with 'Please Please' which is track 8.

Thanks for the heads up, Pete. I enjoyed the album a lot.

I'm really digging this. Definetly hear some Urge Overkill, no QOTSA, but still rocks. The next Wolfmother! Haha. Love "Stepping Out" & "Big Hair Revolution".
