ESPN Soccernet said that Balletti and Larson combined for the second goal, so I was giving credit on the assist as well. I know who was credited with each goal, I just wanted to give Larson some props.

That is the game
I'm glad I got the score right. I'm a little mad that Arsenal couldn't force extra time when it was tied 1-1.

I felt abit sorry for Arsenal until I heard the after match comments, which were in a bad spirit.

I can't believe some of the stick the referee is taking for sending Lehmann off, it was a clear foul and he had to go.

I feel sorry for the guy because he clearly didn't intend to bring Eto down but he did, it was obviously a sending off offense and that is that. The referee couldn't see into the future and know that Guily would score. For me when the foul occured there was no apparent advantage to Barcelona. It's not like there was a Barcelona player standing in front of goal with an easy chance. So the referee had to blow the whistle.

The Eto goal was very close but he looked just marginally onside to me.

For Henry to say the referee was biased was nonsense. The worst mistake the ref made in the game was for Arsenals goal when he gave them a free kick for what was, lets be honest here, a pretty embarrasing dive from Eboue with no player near him.

Henry also missed a very good chance to make it 2-0 and win the match for Arsenal. Yet again at the top level, he failed.

Nah i disagree. Split second from the foul to the goal. Clearly an advantage, virtually an open goal. Advantage is played within a time limit much longer than that, on many other ocassions. If it was not an easy chance, then it should not be a sending off, simple as that. It Can't be a sending off offense if there was no apparent advantage to barcelona & no clear chance to Barca.

Henry said the ref was biased, that was silly though.

great goals? both huge mistakes by almunia....first one he should have come out more and cut down that angle. i got yelled at as a 13 year old goalie to never give up goals near post/short side.

and then as if the first one wasn't shameful enough he lets the ball go THROUGH HIS GODDAMN LEGS!!!!!!!! AN ARSENAL GOALKEEPER!!!!!!! AN INTERNATIONAL GOALKEEPER!!!!!

shameful.

but barca deserved to win. they are the best side in europe.

arsenal played too defensively. it's hard to do otherwise with only 10men but once they let barca do what they wanted in their half, it was over. if only henry had scored when he was alone on the right in the~70th minute.
