Well, neither do I. But a woman at work does.

A few days ago, when she was at the gym, someone took the time to key every frickin' panel of her car.

I'm not really a rabid 'vette fan, but this car was gorgeous. And a convertible. Luckily, they didn't cut the top.

From someone who had her car keyed, in a posh neighbourhood no less, I feel her pain. I'm not sure what the idea is behind it, but then again, I don't understand how assholes breed either.

One of the most bush league moves ever.

Where was she parked?

At my gym we get the occasional 85,000 Mercedes, Range Rover, etc. and the guy will park it right in front of the gym in an illegal spot causing traffic or they will take up 2 spots(when parking is scarce) so their car won't get dinged.

Most people get extremely annoyed at these people. I'm not saying that's key worthy but I could she how someone pissed off from work coming to the gym and that being the straw that broke the camels back.

I think that qualifies as key-worthy. Just be careful not to wreck your key.

I could see that happening.

What I can't see is why no one saw it happening. Broad daylight, and walking around the entire vehicle, keying it everywhere.

One of my coworkers happily admitted that if he wound up parked next to someone who didn't park within the lines, he would smack his door into that car's door when he got in and out - extra hard, just to make sure it left a serious mark. (His car at the time of this statement was a 10 year old Integra, so he didn't care about it.) Of course, what he never takes into consideration is that maybe, just maybe, the car that violates his strict line-rule had to park that way because of the car next to theirs, and the same for that one, and on and on down the row. All it takes is one car to start everyone parking a little further to their left or right, and all it takes is one moron who doesn't think any further than his own slight inconvenience to take out his frustrations on an otherwise innocent victim.

The revenge mentality needs to stop.

Tawney Kitaen's lawyer says she was nowhere near the scene of the crime, where ever that might be.

My dad worked for GM and we had the most godawful lemon yellow Chevette with tan pleather interior in the late 70s. I think he got it for like $5k with his GM discount.

Chick may have had it coming. Could've jerked around in traffic, could have parked inappropriately, could have been an ex--lot's of scenarios. That's why you file a police report and carry insurance.

Never had a CORvett, but I'm in the "first car was a CHEvette" crowd. Tan/tan four speed four-banger. Shook like Parkinson's at anything faster than 90, which you could only achieve down a steep incline with a tailwind.

my dad has a '61 corvette and would probably shoot someone in the face with both bird shot and then father batter if this happend to it. he's about two years away from being that guy from Ferris Bueller's dad.

This, of course, transcends "transportation". If it's already restored, anyone keying such a vehicle should be publically executed as a matter of principal.

it's restored, but he keeps finding flaws with it to redo. for some reason the soft top wasn't original enough so he took it apart and bought all original spines for it and re-stretched it. i think that he needs more responsibility at work or something.

When I saw all the pictures
Of the jockeys that were there before me

Believe it or not
I started to worry
I wondered if I had enough class

But it was saturday night

And u say, baby, have u got enough gas?

My first one was a '79 navy blue 4-speed one with an AM radio in it. After I totalled it, we bought a maroon '81 one that was a 5-speed with an AM/FM radio and it had a pneumatic rear suspension which looked bad-ass in high school when I pumped it up all the way, haha. The second one was like a luxury vehicle, haha.
