it's easy to play at first, but becomes more complicated as you get bored of the super simple things that are easy to do.

do you play guitar as well?
does it have plastic reeds or wood?

its wood. Made i Germany and all that. A hohner. I soon realise its like soccer: anyone can play adequately, but takes a whole lot more to be really good.

yeah, teh first step is easy.
but it gets tricky from there.

i mostly play strait harp, which means you play along to a song in C.

when you blow out, there are only three notes you can play. The three notes that make up the key of C. Those three notes repeat every three holes. So pretty much anytime you blow out it's a "safe" note.

i'm slowly learning to play "blues" style, but i'm bad at explaining it.

harmonicas are great. You can get trashed as hell and regardless of having any musical talent whatsoever, it will at least kinda sound like music if you just blow through the thing is anything remotely resembling a coherent fasion.
