I picked this up the other day. It has eveything you would want it a horror movie; nudity, sex and plenty of gore. The extra's were pretty cool as well. On a side note, I picked Cabin Fever after watching Hostel. Eli Roth is the future of horror movies. I can hardly wait to see what he does next.

Not that I should've been surprised, but the acting in Hostel was atrocious. The gory parts were top notch, but I think I was most disgusted by the American guy (blow torch). What an awful character.

I'm a long time Horror movie geek. So, here's my opinion.

Although not really scary, Hostel was a great view. The first 40 minutes is basically sex and comedy. After that hang on tight for some very disturbing scenes. Nice gore & a great story. Eli Roth is someone to keep an eye on.

Oh yeah , there is a one-line cameo by Takashi Miike as well.

Now on to Cabin Fever. Not as good as Hostel. A bit too much comedy in it but still a must see. Not bad for his first film. Tarantino liked it so much that when Eli Roth was getting offers from Hollywood to do his next film, they offered him sequels or re-makes. Tarantino asked him what film he wanted to do. He said Hostel and Tarantino hooked him up with the $$$.

Will one of you watch it with me? I can't watch scary movies by myself.

It's really not that scary AF, just gross scenes and twisted story. But I'll watch it with you anyway if you want. :)

I was going to get this on dvd but it seemed like a bare bones version and decided to wait and see if another version comes out. I thought it was awesome.
