Did I say Ryne Sandberg Highlights? Andre Dawson Highlights?

CUBS. The whole fucking team, not individual player highlights.

I love em, they suck, end of story.

And you're gonna list Sandberg and Dawson over Ernie Banks? Clemente? C'mon. All heroes, all great players, but let's get it together.

I will give it up to Rick Monday for saving the American Flag from being burned, God Bless him.

Yeah i am going to list them over Ernie, etc...because i was born in 1978 and actually got to witness Sandberg and Dawson play.

You're right, I'm thinking of that diabetic dude who had his legs cut off at the knees, also puerto rican, sports caster, and I don't know why I can't think of his fucking name.

And I live near Roberto Clemente High School, and why can't i think of this fucker's name? Damn. He's still alive too, I'm pretty sure, the diabetic amputee that is, I know Clemente died on some flight.

And Jericho, I was born in 77, saw Sandberg and Dawson too. Solid players, fun to watch, but the cubs still haven't done shit. Sorry buddy.

Why would anyone be apologizing in this case? I don't like the Sox at all ( Raiders of MLB, IMO ) but this was a totally clean play.

If the Cubs catcher didn't like the slapping of home plate...well, boo fuckin' hoo. You wanna not get shown up? Try making a play.

it wasn't about the slapping of the plate. barrett admitted he didn't even see him slap the plate. barrett took it as AJP was walking towards him and NOT towards the whitesox dugout and saw it as a threat

and also there was no possible way he could make a play since AJP beat the ball home.

No reason to be sorry. I'm not a Cubs fan but i think Cubs fans would see those moments as highlights.

Unless by "Highlights" you meant winning the World Series and Pennants. If that's the case maybe you should have clarified.

I thought i clarified by saying "cubs". It's a team.

They do things together, like play games and suck.

ah, there's no reason to let em bother you THIS much. i mean, their futility can't be a surprise, so it shouldn't be this much of a bother. i'm well past the point where they piss me off.

i wonder if big Z is gonna go apeshit on the mound today, even more than usual.

I'm not arguing shit. He asked for Cub highlights and i posted them. That's it. Where in my posts did i make an argument that they're a stellar franchise? Anywhere? Exactly.

Those are highlights, huh? Well shit, color me impressed, I'll print those out and carry them in my pocket, secure in the knowledge that the cubs have a history fraught with highlights.

I included what i thought were highlights (you didn't. (team vs. individual)) then just posted their record from 1909 to present which included the years they won the pennant and had playoff appearances.

You were pitying yourself and didn't really want anyone to reply. I get that.

I'm not pitying myself. Nor am I pitying the cubs. I'm saying they suck.

Although your insistence at responding to rhetorical statements makes you look femme.
