What's better?

ysi has size limits now, that's why you see it used less lately

YSI hasn't really bothered me too much outside of that damned Cunninglynguists album I've been trying to upload for Shiv.

megaupload just feels wrong, I always don't know where to click and there's like 11 different pages to go through...

I started using the beta version of ysi and have had much more success, no more frozen uploads or downloads. I've never tried megaupload because I had nothing but shit download speeds when I've used the links.

Holy Crap, Soul, that's a big ol' bunch of sites.

I think I'll try a couple of the "unlimited file life" sites.

Heh. Uploaderserver is a German site, but it still gives you a casino pop-up.

YSI is still by far the best service. I'll using beta like DJ, and it's even faster now.

hyperupload went fairly fast, easy interface, and unlimited file time, though only 10 MB per file.

Cool song for ya:

I miss Clever Cactus. Can't one of you techhead basement shut-ins create an easily usable program? Lay off the wanking for a couple hours and GIT-R-DONE!

I would agree, except for the damn brick wall business that only lets you view people on the same side of your wall. It's been so long since I was on Colinswood, I can't remember the proper terminology, but I do remember the little brick wall pics next to each name.

np: Death Cab For Cutie - "I Will Follow You Into The Dark"

In order to hop that wall, you gotta have a static ip address, or a program that fakes it for Cwood's sake. It's cumbersome.

Yes, cumbersome. Once again, Seven Mary Three has shown us the way.

I remember trying one of those static IP address faker programs, and it was an unmitigated disaster.

I like mooload because they have a cow.

But they appear to have "suffered a catastrophic hardware failure"

Plus they always tell me what my IP adress is, and cows shouldn't care.

Megaupload sucks from what I've seen of it. The "Box.net" one Dalen uses seems good.
