Speaking of jokes, can the media kiss Brett Favre's ass any more? The guy has a terrible game last night (4 INT), including that throw beyond the line of scrimmage when he could've ran for the first down, yet the media's love affair with this guy never ends. It makes me nauseus to hear some of the broadcasters talk about this guy like he's God.

You gotta admit it's was the best no look pass you've seen since Magic Johnson retired. Yeah the media is giving him a pass, it's kind of hard to rip a HOFer when his wife is battling cancer.

Hey. Lance Armstrong survived cancer his damn self and the guys on PTI are not afraid to rip him for contemplating skipping this year's Tour de France (Lance). So, why should an athlete whose family member is stricken be off-limits?

I am just glad the Packers lost so I don't have to hear and read all those bullshit stories about how the Falcons traded Favre to the Packers 15 years ago.

I have a sense, though, that when the media kisses McNabb's ass once he's past his prime you won't mind it as much.

Please don't presume what I will or will not mind when it comes to McNabb. I am the first to criticize Philly ahtletes when they fuck up. Big name stars have bad games and we as fans and the media should be able to call them out. Favre had a horrible game, yet, no one has even mentioned a thing about how he may have cost his team this game. All I've heard is how half the INTs he threw were the receivers fault, yet the other half go unmentioned. That play behind the line scrimmage was a perfect example. Instead of criticizing him for making a dumb decision, the broadcasters were praising him for laughing and not being uptight in a playoff game. Are you kidding me? He cost his team a touchdown on that play when they really needed it. It turns out, they could've used it. It's a joke.
