Ugh. That happened to a buddy of mine (the two mortgages thing). What was worse was that my brother was his agent for selling his old house.

I completely avoided my buddy and never broached the subject with my bro until it was all over

You should have thought of that before buying a house in TULSA.

Just kidding, PH...I feel for ya, man. Leave a box of matches and some bottle rockets on the front porch, and see if that won't lure some of the neighborhood delinquents over to finish the job.

hey Patrick, are you moving from Tulsa?

I know that Rick and Kevin are looking to buy a place. Maybe give Kevin a shout.

Btw, congrats on the graduation dude. That's a huge accomplishment. Nice to finally put a face to a name.

They are friends.

Dalen: yeah we are moving to Nashville. I talked to Kevin about it, but its too far from the hospital (~22 minutes). I wouldnt buy out here if I was doing residency there, so I dont blame him.

I think OPA! would like Rick, what about you.

22 minutes? Gasp. And I'll bet that Oklahoma traffic is a real killer.

You tell that fucker to buy your house. What a pussy.

Hey when you have to live in Oklahoma, you want certain concessions. One of them being a short commute.

could've had this last year, but old place sold JUST after we hooked up with our interest-only loans on the new place. so good news = no 2 mortgages at once; bad news = interest rate higher on new loan because of the interest-only factor.

PM me your new cell and addy, stat. Me and The Fractured Family will be visiting her brother and his brood later this summer, so I fully intend on annoying you in person over some brewskis. And this time, jagged and tommy won't be there to dilute my irritatingness. Then again, don't discostu and nico still live there? Perhaps they could join us, and nobody could make the 3-hour drive up from Memphis. Any chance gauchedouche will be in town then? I'm pretty sure Commodore Vanderbilt will want him to complete at least SOME of his course work ON campus at some point.

wait aren't you a doctor or something?

I guess you've got your summer home, even if it is sooner than you were planning.

Too bad it's in tulsa.

I love Tulsa... not too big and not too small. I know I'm not going to convince anyone of anything different, but it is a great place to have a family and Cain's has been bringing the rawk over the past couple of years.

Saint Patrick, where are you doing your residency? My wife is a pediatrician and on the faculty at the OSU med school.

Who is your wife? She probably was one of my instructors over the last few years. Im going to Vanderbilt for anesthesiology residency.

Love Cain's, btw.

Yeah, it sucks. But hey, look at the bright side, you could have 3 house mortgages (plus a business mortgage) like me. See? Life isn't so bad.
