Who's got the goods and wants to share? I can think of at least a few people on the board who'd probably be interested as well, seeing as they take a lot from the Stones and MC5. Guitarist from Gun Club in the band as well.

I've got Doll Hut and Biblioteca on cassette from back in the '80s. Never liked them enough at the time to upgrade to vinyl - but they definitely had their moments.

Never heard of them but they sound kind of interesting.

Your vault of JAIL TAPES must be quite interesting, Rads.

Exactly the people I was referring to as "few people on the board" perked up on this thread. Yeah, I need to find some of their stuff. Nothing ground-breaking, just sound interesting if for nothing else to hear their covers, and to hear the supposed Jagger vox rip.

I don't know if emusic still have them but I dl'ed Fiesta en La Biblioteca from emusic back in the unlimited dl days. I remember it having some moments but it quickly got lost in my collection. I'm not sure if I still have it anymore but I'll check.

I haven't even checked emusic, as I thought most of their material was pretty much lost through the years, that'd be cool if it was still up there though, if not and you have it, it'd be appresh'd.

Yeh, there's enough to make an awesome mix. Shit like:

The Leroi Brothers "Are You With Me Baby (Say Yeah)"
UIC "Crop Dusting"
The Breakers "Shaggy English Sheep Dog Shake"
U.S.K. "Rockman"
Peter Zaremba's Love Delegation "Save Me"
The Battered Wives "Great Balls"
The Rangehoods "Chip On My Shoulder"
The Spikes "Ain't No Friend Of Mine"
Guilt Parade "Ode To An Asshole"
The Electric Bananas "Mikey Is A Ladies Man"
The Pontiac Brothers "Be Married Song"

It's all stuff I'd love to have in a format with better fidelity than 20 year old cassettes.
