Third day into his journey across the Western Scottish Highlands. D'ya think his carcass is laying across a huge boulder being picked at by vultures? Does Scotland even have vultures? At the very least, it's probably being gnawed on by friendly hedgehogs.

I think he has been captured by the natives and sold to the local butchers for haggis meat.

I was thinking about Darrin last night...not cause of his mountaineering jaunt but because I saw the Fall and the Fall makes me think of John Peel and John Peel makes me think of Darrin. I can't escape you people. Maybe Darrin's having more luck with that out in the highlands.

I went to a birthday party for John Peel back in the early eighties. Stowmarket was the place. My friend's dad was friends with Peel and Peel was from the area so he used to have little birthday shindigs at the Stowmarket community center. My sister filled me in on this. I never realized until a few years ago. Apparently i used to go to the middle of the dance floor and do some lame knee bend dance. John Peel probably saw this. That's embarassing.
