Probably Super Furry Animals or Radiohead...

Deerhoof cover of The Beatles' "Buffalo Bill"

Deerhoof cover's EP (see above)

Trumpet!

5. Who's your favourite local band?
Hmm...maybe Autolux? I can't think of that many bands from LA :/

Tapes 'N Tapes at the Knitting Factory

7. What was the greatest concert you've ever been to?
Haven't been to too many "great" concerts, but the Arcade Fire put on a pretty good show at the Troubadour.

8. What's the worst band you've ever seen in concert?
Boys II Men...oh wait, worst? Nevermind, I thought that said best.

9. What band do you love musically but hate the members of?
The Walkmen...God, they're lead singer's a douche. He actually threw his gum at one of his band members during a song.

I don't really know what this means...when I was a band nerd in high school?

Liars at the Troubadour on June 3

Umm...70s? I don't know. This is hard.

and not that I'd put them in the same league as Superfly, The Harder they Come, or Buena Vista Social Club but The Mack and Coffey are great too.

5. Who's your favourite local band? Although I am soon to be an Austinite, I'm a Houston resident right now so....I don't know...probably still King's X.

7. What was the greatest concert you've ever been to? Probably Coachella 2005. If that really counts.

8. What's the worst band you've ever seen in concert? Some nu-metal band in a hole in the wall venue in Longview, TX.

9. What band do you love musically but hate the members of? Nothing comes to mind. But I'm sure I'd want to hit Liam Gallagher within a couple of minutes of speaking with him.

10. What is the most musically involved you have ever been? I've been in 4 bands that never went anywhere, but my fav was probably Loophole. The one that had the most potential was Delicate Fade.

11. What show are you looking forward to? I'm seeing Giant Drag this Thursday so that should be fun.

12. What is your favourite band shirt? I have a Faint shirt that fits me really well. I like the Danse Macabre design.

15. What bands would you love to see tour together? Cocteau Twins, Curve and My Bloody Valentine.

17. What was your first concert? I think my parents took me to see a Christian rock group called 2nd Chapter of Acts when I was 10 or so.

18. What was the greatest decade for music? They all have their good moments and bad moments. But I guess I have more from the 80s, 90s, and 00s than anything else.

19. What is your favourite movie soundtrack? Lost in Translation.

20. What would you be without music? Probably some sort of IT professional or video game programmer. That was my area of interest before I was blindsided by the music bug. Maybe I should have stuck with the former.
