He should have stayed retired. I don't see them making it back to the World Series, only to lose again. Plus, I'm not really a big fan of someone coming out of retirement almost half way through a season.

Typical Clemens. Check the standings, assmunch! Which Lone Star State team leads their division, and which one has to look up from the middle of the pack??? Fucking dumbass. If he manages to lead the 'Stros to a WS victory, I'll retract my bitterness, but for now I'm chapped that he gave Hicks such a full-on cocktease.

I think you're reading this wrong.

I'd guess all along it is was the Astros or retiring. The 3 other suitors were likely only involved at all to keep the price up.

That's what pisses me off, is that Clemens NEVER had ANY intention of going anywhere but Houston, even though he was giving hand jobs to Hicks, John Henry and Big Stein left and right like an octopus with the key to the Vaseline cabinet.

Padres are trying to coax Tony Gwynn from that coaching job and back in the lineup. He's got to play first now though. Too fat to run in the outfield.
