Yeah, my three favorite comedies of all time are probably:

A Shot In The Dark
Wet Hot American Summer
Cannibal! The Musical

I mean Shrek is a fine kid's movie but probably shouldn't be on the list at all.

Oh, Young Frankenstein would probably be top 5 for me too, not 56.

And seriously... Napoleon Dynamite... dead last if it must be on the list at all.

Wow! Pretty much the same taste of comedy as me.

Your shouldn't be on the list: I agree with all except Best In Show

Way to low list: Agree 100%

Way to high list: Agree with all except Clerks

And yep, Fletch should've made the list.

That list is pretty awful but I disagree with these corrections

I disagree with all of these....I'm pretty shocked you don't like Pink Panther...that whole series would be at #1 for me. Harold and Maude is pretty great too.

I agree Fletch is the biggest omission.

Other omissions for me are:

The Groove Tube
History of the World Part I
The Snapper
Monty Python's Life of Brian
Easy Money
Trading Places
Volunteers
Tommy Boy
Survivors
Smokey and the Bandit

haha Bravo.

I'd recommend you not ever watch The Groove Tube again. Father Time has not been gentle to this one-time classic. Keep those memories sweet as Brown 25.

The '70s Pink Panther sequels deserve to be on the list, much more so than The Pink Panther itself. Whichever one it is where Inspector Dreyfus gets institutionalized is the best. It would be Top 20, for sure.

Groove Tube has its moments (especially the stuff with Belzer and Chevy Chase), but KFM is better, and this list probably only needs one from the "series of sketches" genre. Still, I can't really argue with you -- it's much better than most of what's on Bravo's list.

Easy Money is OK, but nowhere near as good as Back to School, which was a shocking omission by me from the shocking omission list! Hard to top Thornton Melon.

Um, Trading Places IS on the list, at #74, so it really can't be considered an omission. However, you are free to consider it too low.

Check out how many films John Landis directed on the list. Dude was a comedic MONSTER. I'm pretty sure either him, Ivan Reitman or Harold Ramis had something to do with like 85% of the movies on the list.

Are you KIDDING ME?!?!? Every single one of these is MINIMUM Top 30, and in most cases, at least Top 20. How can you not think these are funny???

Groove Tube >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>KFC

Joe Pesci makes Easy Money better than Back to School...if Joe Pesci played the limo driver on back to school then it probably would have been better.

I didn't notice Trading Places...I don't think I'd place it higher than 74 in the abstract, but then again I disagree with most of Bravo's selections and can't seem to come up with but a handful of replacements.

Fletch is good and should be on the list, but I said it before, and it bears repeating; The Party is the biggest omission!

Rushmore is a top 5 for me (any genre).

Now if this list were title "Blockbuster Video Presents the 100 Funniest Comedies You'll Find At Our Store," I probably couldn't complain.

Damn, we agree on something.

"THERE AIN'T NO FUCKING THELMA HERE. THE BITCH DON'T LIVE HERE!!!"

This list is laughable, but I am sure I am in the minority around here. I don't think Spinal Tap belongs on here, and the rest of those (Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman) go into the negatives in terms of funny.

Back to School is hilarious, as is Beverly Hills Cop and Trading Places.

And Goodfellas would be in my top 5.

Well, if Chuck Eddy can count Donnie Osmond as metal, then Loogar can count Goodfellas as a comedy.
