did I mist the post extravaganza about her? I've been listening to her mixtape and enjoying it all weekend. Stereogum is in love with her, as is pretty much half of theother blkogs I read. Lots of comparison to m.i.a. and lady sovereign, though I don't really know if either is applicable. In any case, she sings over "Up the Junction", so she can't be all bad...

LDN is my new favorite song. The mixtape starts off really good, then goes a bit downhill with all the dancehall but gets good again with all the older songs.

I just bought this today for $17.99. I can't stop spinning it. I deviated for a little bit and played Drum's Not Dead and Gimme Fiction. But she's pretty much had a monopoly over my ears today.
