I'm listing to Rabbit Songs right now and this has to be one of the most beautiful CDs that I've heard. Just stunning.

Yeah, I have that one at home. I haven't listened to it in a while. Good stuff.

rabbit songs is awesome. eveningland is okay too. i just saw them in april and they were alright - good banter with audience and a few new songs with serious potential. they said they hoped a new album would be out by the end of this year.

Yeah and yeah. Eveningland is sorely under-appreciated.

Oooh, I'm jealous. I would love to see them live. I know just the venue too...

What does this sound like? I've never heard of them before.

RIYL Over The Rhine, Cowboy Junkies, Feathermerchants, Neko Case, Joni Mitchell

It's mellow and atmospheric countrypolitan folk, with very good vocals and very little studio mucking about. Doesn't sound like a particular decade. Very pretty, but not at all saccharine.

You know that one out of every 20 artists on NPR that actually perks your interest? That's them.

You can sample a new, as of yet unreleased, tune on their web site. This is a good example of their general sound.
