I bring this up because I spotted Telegraph in the $1.99 bin today and decided to take a chance on it. I have never ever seen it used before and was bit curious.

I readily admit that I haven't heard all of her work, just a few songs (usually the singles) from each of her solo albums over the years. I liked a couple of tunes from her last one Medusa but overall I have never been that impressed by her or The Sugarcubes in the past. So anyways, I wasn't expecting much with this but boy, I was blown away with how good and interesting this was to listen to. She jumps from orchestral, to neo-soul, to industrial to bossanoval/70's to xylophone(!) from track to track and still kept it interesting with a minimum of yelps and vocal gymnastics. Have to give her props for this though I don't know if she actually wrote all of the songs on this one. Okay, so I'm 10 years late on this party on this one but do you think this was the best album she did? I'm inclined to say yes but I want to hear your reasons of dissent, if any.

Your thoughts please.

Medulla, right. Whatever.

She wears that weird headress on the cover so I thought it was Medusa for some reason.

I think Post and Vespertine are my two favorite, I also really like Selmasong.

Telegram is actually a remix album of Post.

Post is actually probably my favorite album by her. Followed by Debut.

I adore Selmasongs but, unless you've seen Dancer In The Dark, it probably doesn't have the same resonance.

Don't let OPA see you doing that.

Anyway, my favorite is Homogenic but Post is really good too. As stated above, Telegram is a remix album of Post.

Homogenic is her best. After that, Post and Vespertine are my other two favorites.

I think Homogenic is the best. I like her a lot. (Saw the Sugar Cubes many, many years ago in San Juan Capistrano play to a half-filled room of 75 people....god I hated the little icelandic gnome guy). But I never choose to put her music on. I'll but the next one... listen to it three times, find it interesting and important. And never choose to put it on again.

Homogenic and Post are fairly close for me, with Homogenic just edging it. Vespertine is good, but I think I would like Debut more when I finally get around to buying it.

I hadn't even heard of Telegram reading this. Seriously, how many remix ad box set things has she put out? It must be infuriating to be a Bjork completist
