so I was listening to "Sea Change" and I got to "Paper Tiger" and I realized that the string lines he uses are basically a ripoff of Serge Gainsbourg's instrumentation on Histoire de Melody Nelson...

has anybody else noticed this?

well i didn't because i only heard "histoire de melody nelson" for the first time 3 months ago, your indier-than-thouness. why don't you just ban me already for my incompetence and lack of musical knowledge?

I don't want to be one of those people who asks "YSI?" but I'd like to hear this. I have some Gainsbourg stuff, but not this. And besides, I love having a song I love ruined for me by way of a tender loving.....homage?
