Forgot to reply to this. I'm liking it ok so far. The vocals annoy me in a couple of places but hopefully they'll grow on me

This album hooked me on the first listen. I happened to run across it on a listening station a few days ago.

i just got this last week, and it's so, so good. it totally hits my spot, even though it reminds me ever so slightly of the cranberries.

Nice, I often see a cover and think...hmmm? Your ability to pull that one out is admirable.

after listening to this for a while now, i think that about sums it up. the second half of the disc just crawls for me, though i'm still down with their overall sound and attitude. i'm still waiting to see them, and i might be forced to miss their upcoming nyc shows

i did. for a full description, click here
the short answer is, when i saw them, they sucked. however, they'd just recently added a new drummer and it was the first show of the tour, so if you really like the album, take the chance at your own risk.

Hm. This leaves something of a debate as to whether or not I should see them or Man Man on Oct. 19. Actually, no it doesn't. I'm seeing Man Man, but it sucks that I won't have the chance to see these guys, too.

yeah i've heard that man man was pretty mind blowing. I didn't expect much from Asobi but i was pretty impressed and it was a pretty intimate venue. and it had those retard urinals like we had in elementary school that go all the way to the floor. i find that comforting.
