How much ass did our goalie kick tonight against the Dutch?!

I can't believe we just tied with like the third ranked team in the world. Which means we won. 'Cause it was an away game.

DARK HORSE DARK HORSE DARK HORSE.

It was a good game. I hope Schwazer(sp) is in that form at the world cup, for your sake.

I don't see him all that often but I felt Schwartzer was to blame for at least 2 of the goals in Middlesboro's UEFA cup debacle.

Yeah I remember seeing footage of a couple of Middlesborough games where he had absolute shockers. But on a good day he is awesome - seriously, did you see any of the Uruguar qualifier. He saved 2 good penalties. Hopefully the knowledge that he has a very close competitor as first choice for Australia in Zeljko Kalac will keep him at his best in the WC

So, did anyone see the Holland v Australia game? I saw the first half but then fell asleep. Based on that we looked frazzled and lacking our usual energy in midfield. Hopefully that's just a result of the ridiculous training schedule they've had for the past few weeks and they'll rest up now before the WC starts.

Still, even if the play favoured Netherlands, I can't believe that we actually drew with them in a serious international. Guus Hiddink is a god

Netherlands looked really good though. I think this might be the year they actually live up to potential (though they did make SF in 98). Are Brazil and Netherlands on the opposite sides of the draw? Them and Argentina are my picks. I agree that France, England and Italy will probably stuff it up and get booted out early.

yeah although there wasnt much possession there was a a lot of hustle. netherlands were a bit unsettled, and also after halftime AUS down to ten men. so it was a good result. i was impressed, sorrta. then again i don't think netherlands are as great as everyone is claiming them to be.
