i'm sure this has been contemplated numerous times, but this morning while i was stuck on the subway i stumbled across down's '..hedgerow' album on my ipod. i'm not really a huge fan of theirs, i just like when a song comes up on random here & there, i guess.
but this morning i decided to put the whole album on, and for some reason, i dunno, i tried listening to everything but the vocals and on the whole, it was way more enjoyable.
so....
what records would be made infinitely better/more enjoyable/mildly palatable/etc by removing all the vocal tracks?

Vocalists for nine out of every ten pop-punk bands, especially now that they think they need to become Smith and Bowie. The skateboard valley dude yip yips suck in new wave, dudes.

The dude from Eve 6. No, wait. I would like to rid the world of that whole band.

Alexisonfire.

I mean, they'd still be a shit band but get rid of the screamer and it would at least be a less intense level of crappiness.

Anything post-Pop/Zooropa could probably benefit from less Bono.

Clap Your Hands. The band kick ass, but that singer... :x
I was in a Goodwill and they were selling that CD for $3. And I still didn't want to buy it.

I don't like the lead singer's voice in Muse. I also cannot stomach the Mars Volta dude.
