i just went and made some bets on this

Golden boot - M Klose 20:1

Winners: Argentina 8:1

France Brazil Germany and Spain to win their respective leagues 3.6:1 (pretty safe and gets me my money back)

and a longshot multibet one picking 8 different winners of matches

did i just throw away money?

Guess what? I'm being de-virginized! I'm going to my very first World Cup party this weekend. Portugal vs some country. Yay for me!

I saw Klose for the Golden Boot at 33:1 earlier in the week. 20:1 is still generous odds though I'm not sure how far Germany will get in the tournment. England, Argentina and Holland are all possible 2nd round or Quarter Final opponents and right now they don't look like beating top quality opponents.

Argentina have a really hard group and it's not impossible they could fail to get to the knock out stages but since those fucking cloggers Australia injured just about every Dutch player the other night they have a much better chance than they would have had a week ago.

You'll get three out of the four group winners and lose the bet...

I'm all excited to start watching this tomorrow morning. I need to run and get some beer tonight, since I only have four old style tall boys left in my apt.
I saw that piece on ESPN about Croatians in Australia and how both teams have members from both countries.

They're in the same group, but I think the game Aural's seeing is what's sure to be a thrilling matchup against that football powerhouse Angola

Does installing landmines on your end of the pitch constitute a red-card?
