Yes, I love M.Ward and discovered him for myself when I picked up last year's Transistor Radio and listened to it become by No. 1 record of 2005.

If we're doing RIYL / comparisons...for me, he's more like a John Fahey influenced JJ Cale.

Katie Hasty's news excites me.

Over the weekend, while my son was swimming I sat poolside (neighborhood pool, not mine, 'cuz I be po) and felt sufficiently moved to listen to M. Ward's entire catalog all at one sitting. I've always been a fan, but that really cemented my enthusiasm for the guy. I can't WAIT for the new album!
