I'd rather not be the commissioner. Colin may want to do the honors but I've haven't spoken to him about it. Colin, what say you?

I'm in. I liked last season's league a lot, I'd like to see the same format again.

I think you should not be allowed in any new league if you haven't payed up from your previous losses :D

I'm in for FF again, BTW.

I'd like in as well.

I'd also like to note the only league that i didn't "pay up" in was the pick em NFL league from last year. I didn't pay because i was never able to make a selection because i didn't get my pick in before the Thursday game to start the year. Hopefully that doesn't exclude me.

Might play. Am bowing out as commish and write-up guy. Last year got to be too much. With vacation and new house on the horizon, it may be even tougher. Happy to serve in a consultant role, though.

Sorry kids.

Bastard! (I did this once, too. But don't tell anyone).

I'll volunteer to commish. Are people cool with how sketch did it last year?

nacho: Only scoring suggestion is to up the QB passing yards to 25 yards per point. I know some people had beef with rosters/league size, but you were a staunch defender of it. It will shake out as needed.

Ok, I went ahead and made a league. I copied the settings from last year's league. One big problem is that yahoo is reserving the best draft dates/times for their "Plus" leagues, so this was the best i could do (right know all they have for later in Aug or in Sept is times during the day on weekdays). They usually add addtional draft dates/times as the season gets closer, so I will try to reschedule for closer to the start of the season.

One thing I'd like to pose to everyone is whether to start 3 WR's again this year, or go with 2 WR's and 1 WR/RB (there's also a WR/TE slot that I think we should stick with). I could go either way on this, but i thought I'd throw it out there.

I compared the point totals for players using both scoring schemes. using 25 yards/point gives a slight bump to QBs and makes the leaders slightly more varied by position. Good suggestion.

We had 20 last year and people seemed pretty happy for the most part.

And 20 is the max, we could have less if fewer people are interested.

I'm not a fan of the 20 team format. I may not be able to draft because of my wedding so i may end up having to skip out on this.

20 teams is way too many if you're starting two running backs. That said, I'm in.
