It doesn't look like anybody's started a thread on this yet, so I will carpe diem and announce that this album absolutely blew me away! Fabulous stuff!!! Enters my list at #7, with the potential to climb even higher. I think the likes of billy g, PoD and ayah will definitely dig this.

I still have to give this a listen. How are the arrangements and production on this? I thought the Bacharach collaboration stuff was super sappy.

elvis costello is in my top 3 of favorite musicians. i will definitely be purchasing this in the near future. one of the guys at the record store was praising this last night.

This is not sappy at all...very fresh and vibrant. Though the subject matter is weighty at times, you can tell they had an absolute blast recording this.
