I hate that one song that's all over VH1. That woo-oh chorus drives me nuts. Reminds me of Annie Lennox mixed with Melissa Ethridge and filtered through crap.

Overall the album is very mediocre IMO.

95 % of the people here would HATE her so of course...

I've been listening to this A LOT for the past month and LOVE it.

My buddy hooked me up with four free tickets to see her last time I came to ATL but I just culdn't get there. I didn't know who she was then. Now I'm kicking myself.

Have seen her name all over the place but never dove in. I keep confusing her with Kasey Chambers for no good reason.

Oh my god, me too.

I absolutely hate that song with a passion. Chicago radio stations play it ALL THE TIME. It's awful.

I guess that song has pretty much ruined any further interest in her for me.

Josh came across some live concert thing of hers on cable a few weeks back. It had been taped at Schubas in Chicago. It wasn't that exciting.

She's not as bad as James Blunt, but crap nonetheless.

I saw her on a late show and was very impressed. She used a loop machine, and played about 6 or 7 instruments, and kept adding them to the loop, until she finally sang and played guitar. It was about a week or 2 after that paul mccartney thing aired on PBS where he did basically the same thing.

I heard her on NPR like 4 months ago and thought she was really good. that is basically all I know.

I don't wish her ill. It's a decent record if you like the Paula Cole end of the music spectrum. I'm not going to buy it but don't dislike it.

I don't like the album, but she's pretty impressive live. She does that one-person-band thang, looping her own percussion and shit and playing along to it. That "Woo-ooh", for example, is annoying on record, but somehow it verges on cool when you see her coo the first one onto tape and then loop it.

IMO, she's one of those artists I'm not interested in, but I don't begrudge her any success she might have. I think she deserves it.

Yeah. She'll have maybe one more hit then will meander on her odd little path and put out a career's worth of AAA folk-quirk that I won't pay much attention to but I'll respect that she's doing it.

In my opinion, if an artist like KT Tunstall doesn't have a huge i mean HUGE hit, what's the point?

I don't understand these midle of the road pop rock acts surviving when they really aren't that popular.

If you're gonna make this sort of music, then you better well have a MASSIVE HIT SONG.

I don't have anything against her, and i sure as hell don't like the music at all, but at least give me something.

Dude, there are THOUSANDS of public radio-loved artists. They maintain decades-long careers, devoted fanbases and profitable concert tours.

If every single Tanita Tikaram and Indigo Girls had to call it a day without hits, where would high school librarians get their music?
