it's be easier if t-shirts were sized the same as 'proper' shirts.

Eg. I'm a 38 shirt, but i'm a small, medium, or large t-shirt, depending.

That's why i never get stuff sight unseen from the internetz.

EXTREMELY large t-shirts are fashionable for black men small and large at the moment.

All I know is that Bloor is on to something. I'm also 6'2", 180ish, and there's no good reason why a men's medium should be too baggy for me to wear. Then if I move down to a small, there's the whole sleeves too short / shirt too short thing. Shopping for clothes can suck.

That's my problem, too. At 6'5" with only a 32" inseam, I have a freakishly long torso from shoulders-to-waist. Almost no shirts out there are long enough for me. Believe it or not, the tall is more a problem for me than the fat.

I've pretty much found I can wear any medium t-shirt. Collared shirts are a bit harder to predict as far as fit for me.

My dad's got the same problem. He's around 6'3" and he wears a 30" inseam. It's cute.

Casual Male definitely doesn't have the most stylish clothing, but they're good for XLT staples like undershirts and jeans.

I have this problem. I have to buy XL Tall when and if it's available. However, there are still some designers whose XXL are like an normal XL which my chest will not fit in. I'm a barrell-shaped mofo.

I've just started buying t-shirts from American Apparel because I love the way they fit and feel...most comfortable shirts I've ever owned. But despite the form fittedness, I have to go with an XL for it to be not overly tight in the arms and shoulders, where Large will do in any other brand.

See above. AA makes their t-shirts fit small because they think t-shirts aren't supposed to hang off of you.

Arm length is even worse than torso length

I constantly look 'casual' with my dress shirt and rolled up sleeves. But if i dont roll them up there's like an two inches space between the end of the shirt arm and my hand. Im a student, i cant affor tailored shirts.

I wish i could find a place that sold sizes going up in height not weight

That would be one sharp wardrobe.

there are xxl's that are tight as shit and xl's that are loose. However, I have not worn anything smaller than XL since maybe 8th grade.

I hate shopping. Nothing ever fits me right. Most brand's "petite" or "short" lengths are still at least 1.5 inches too long for me. I usually buy everything online, because I can't find stuff in the stores, especially shoes. The varying waist size in women's clothing is irritating too, so I just find the brand/size combo that fits the best and stick with it.

How come when I do go into a store to try and buy jeans, they have all the smaller sizes (0-6) in only regular and tall lengths, and only the 'short' lengths in the larger sizes, like 12 and up? And why the hell do they put their smaller sizes and petite lengths on the top shelves??

Polo undershirts.

I know, I know, paying for fancy brand t-shirts is pretty lame. However, I picked them up the first time on some 2-for-1 type deal and found out they don't skimp on the length. The next time I stopped by they weren't on sale, but only about a buck more than the friggin' Hanes.

I just love the imagery of eating a whole cake. Makes me laugh every time.

I ate a whole roast recently. Well, I gave the end pieces to the cat, but I think that still counts as an achievement.

XL = I'm better than you and if you don't like it I'll pick you up and snap your girly twig like body in half, motherfucker.

I totally forgot about this until this morning when I was slipping into my asphalt colored hot shorts... AA undies are the best ever. They fit perfectly, the colors are awesome (candy stripes!), and even though they're $12 a pair (ridiculous, I know), I don't think I'll ever wear another brand again.

Busty hooked me up with some kind of xtra long shirt from the company his girl works for. I like it. It has some kind of spandex woven into it that makes the material stretchier, which takes a little getting used to.

I may some polo ones for comparison.
