Nah, no baby issues. Just not inclined to breed and don't want the responsibility. There's nothing wrong with that. I think there are other things in life that await me besides being a mother. Just because I can doesn't mean I should.

I love you. You're my new hero.

The past few days have been blah over here, too. Lots of confidence issues and bullshit "what does it all mean?" conversations with myself. I talked to my dad yesterday and he put a band-aid on the shitty feelings, but they're still hanging around.

e-stone: a robo-parent-- one of those robotic people you see about that has no general interests or life outside of their children, i.e. EVERYTHING revolves around the kids, they're constantly tired, they're overworked, they're generally operating on autopilot. I typically cannot be friends with these types of people only because they can't focus long enough to have a normal adult conversation anymore. I would say that no one on obner is like this, otherwise they wouldn't be on obner.

This is me, but I can also multi-task, making me socially fun and incredibly charming.

Yeah exactly. Me too. Well then again right now I have an awesome excuse. My hormones are on overdrive right now and though I love the kid, I'm sick of being pregnant. 4 more friggin weeks to go.

I have a life outside the kids, it's just a bit on hold right now cause of the birthing thing. In a few months I should be out again hopefully. I'm not going to be one of those moms who just disappears from the world. But during pregnancy it's hard to want to go to a club and see a band.

Oh and Dana, I hate the parents who lose control or who just don't care. I see them at my son's school often. I want to slap them silly. Josh and I are toughasses with the kid and he's actually happier these days for it.

Not so random because of the posts in this thread so far but:

I'm starting to wonder if I really want kids too.

It get's pretty old trying to keep my gf from being in a pissy mood. I wonder if she's really happy sometimes.

I'm enjoying the process of getting in the best shape of my life.

One of the biggest highlights of getting in our new house this weekend is going to be having my own fucking backyard.

I can't believe I'm about to be a home owner.

I used to be adamant about NOT wanting kids, but, and I know how this will sound, everything feels alright with FEMGAR...

I'm closing on friday now, and can't wait to have a fucking real place of my own. Its seriously been 7 years since I even rented a place that was "MINE."

i.e., name on the lease, etc.

Pretty much my one and only major materialistic goal. (apart from the gadget addiction)

I want to one day see my big fat old fluffy cat (currently a house cat) stretched out on a rock among some plants in the sun.

it is nice owning a house. it is especially nice when the piece of shit 2-bedrooms on your street are now going for 400k.

the problem with a house is the cleaning and maintenance, oh well.

I really, really, really want a house. Badly. I want to have a garden and a backyard with a porch.

I'm tired of apartment and condo living. I want something we can call ours that would be great to raise the kids in. I miss living in a neighborhood.

This taking an elevator down to the lobby crap has gotten old.

Mine is so active it frightens me. I'm afraid she's going to be hyper.

I can't tell you how awesome and annoying it is at the same time. Great most times when we can feel an elbow or butt. Or when she does somersaults.

But those moments when I can literally feel fingers stretching into my bladder...oy.

Right now she has the hiccups. So my belly keeps pulsating.
