Bass guitar lines: The Jam - In The City

Lead guitar lines: Sonic Youth - Teenage Riot

Drums: Pedro The Lion - Magazine

Piano: R.E.M. - Shaking Through

I'm considering a few instrument-based mixes and was hoping you could help. Can be simple or complex - don't really care. Just looking for some indie tracks with 'killer riffage'.

Thanks!

i get drum patterns stuck in my head for weeks at a time. It's crazy because I usually won't even be able to figure out what it's from for a few hours. Right now it's "10 AM Automatic"

Yeah, pretty much anything Bootsie does is gold. Still can't stand that album, though.

Not indie, but "War Pigs" as covered by Dresden Dolls has some shiny drums in it.

this is off the top of my head at work, so i don't have any references to go with:

Bass Line: the clash - 'four horsemen'
Lead Guitar Licks: sleater-kinney - 'male model'
Piano: radiohead - that neat live version of 'like spinning plates'
