I switched cds from a low volume burn to a new cd....9 songs in and I just realized that with the higher volume mastering that I'm playing this REALLY LOUD and its blasting throughout my office. Anyone else ever do that?

What's worse is when you are listening through headphones and then realize 9 songs in that the headphones are not plugged in, rather you are hearing from the computer speakers.

i blast music from my cube all the time so it's never a problem. what i have a problem is that my computer speakers suck... so i have all the volume really high so if i click on a website that has music playing, the volume will screech up REALLY loud. it's sooooo annoying.

Oh don't get me wrong...I have my own office and no one is within 40 feet of me so I listen to music at fairly high volume for a work setting regularly. By REALLY LOUD, I mean the whole floor could probably hear it. You can probably get away with it more than most of us, particularly if its a band on EMI. Its a little inconsiderate for me to do that though.

damn that loud?! sometimes i don't realize how loud my music is... until i'm walking to the other side of my dept and i'm like UHHH... oops.

I hate it when I have headphones on at work and forget that people can hear when I sing. Those poor people in ear shot.

I hate it when you have it on shuffle and one song is loud and the next song is quiet, etc...
