has anyone seen this movie? rottentomatoes had it at 72% and the trailer looked pretty interesting.

the original japanese one or the remake that's not out yet?

i have the original but haven't watched it yet. my roommate said it's kind of hard to follow.

er, i guess i didn't know the remake wasn't out yet.

some critic on rottentomatoes also said it was hard to follow

i'll probably end up seeing it anyway

I'm a big fan of Kiyoshi Kurosawa but I had a hard time watching the original. I really don't think I was in the right frame of mind however. I will reattempt a viewing soon though. Cure by Kurosawa is fantastic btw.
