So far, Katie and Aaron have sumarized my thoughts better than I did. They make a great pair. Maybe I just wasn't made to communicate through text. Maybe I am doomed to communicate through noise and sketches.

Man did I ever play the hell out of Mary Had a Little Lamb on the clarinet. I really loved it, too. And then I stopped.

Would love to learn guitar but a) my hands are tiny, even for a girl and b) I doubt I'd have the patience to get through the initial phase of knowing nothing.

Actually, there's even an old guitar at home from when I learned for a few years when I was around 10. I don't think it's been played for 10 years. We just never got around to selling it.

The thing I would like to be able to do better is be able to pick out what different instruments are doing in songs and how they intertwine. For some bands and songs that's really easy, of course, but for others I think it would enhance my enjoyment of the music more if I could pick out different guitar lines and other instruments that are more submerged in the mix
