The !Forward Russia! (remember they have exclamation marks in the band name because they are no talent hipster cocksuckers) album is derivative and boring. And that's me being polite about it.

i share konstantin's feelings. maybe not the whole fucking themselves part, but the rest of it im good with.

i don't like being in the front at shows unless it's a band i'm entirely obsessed with.

(mainly due to the fact that i like to be able to access the bar as easy as possible )

too tired to see echo the other night and now only contemplating seeing a show on saturday? I think we must have had some sort of strange freaky friday type incident. I'm working on a dri'esque week of 6 shows in 7 days.

HAHA! i know! well hey, i'm going to see the walkmen tonight and there's definitely going to be some mongering because i haven't gone out all week... i feel like some old lady has taken over me.

as far as saturday goes, it's just a matter of finding someone to go with me... there's a billion things going on saturday night. and don't worry, i'll be back in action - next week going to 3 shows (french kicks/futureheads, red light school district, duke spirit) and the week after another 3 (2 radiohead - even going down to sd on a worknight - then built to spill).

i've just been somewhat of a hermit lately. that will soon change!

I'll be at Saturday's gig. I like these guys...saw 'em when I was in Austin and loved their energy.
