I am a total Lakers fanatic.... but I have to say Wade might be better than Kobe.

Wasnt he like 9-25? Sure he made some shots at the end but they had NO OTHER OPTION and the Mavs didnt put anyone on him who could get a hand up.

Greatest center currently playing in the middle and they had no other option? It's clutch time... like Havilcek, West, Dr. J., Reggie Miller, Bird, Jordan of course... and perhaps the Kobe.... the greatest players emerge at crunch time.... Malone may have scored a gazillion points... but lacked this magic.

Wade has it.

No, the greatest players had everything set out and knew their every step and executed perfectly. Wade has no shot, though he has ridiculous handles. He still scores half of his points on free throws per game on plays where he's out of control and just dribbling and jumping into whoever is closest and praying for a foul to be called and faking an injury when it doesnt, so that when it is he can be called tough for making a few free throws when those fouls are called. Jordan had complete control over ever step he took and over every defender against him. He never got bailed out like that in the fourth quarter of a game where he made bad deicisons like that.

That said, Marquette STILL OWNS Depaul.

Wade is in his third year in the league... no one is saying he is Jordan.... no one is Jordan but Jordan. But he's had a great series and scored over 15 points in the fourth quarter twice... as his team has won three in a row. He's very, very good. I think one reason people might say "he doesn't have a shot" is because he has a great bank shot... kinda retro, kinda fun.

I've heared ESPN talking about Wade and Jordan in the same breath, more so since the last three games. But everyone seems to forget that in this critical series Wade has done great ONLY in friendly environment.

What's he gonna do when he gets back to Dallas?
