Haha. I remember being drunk as fuck rolling into Baltimore into this ungodly mass of people & white trash when the Ravens won the Super Bowl.

people & white trash: two different entities

I'm glad the old guys on the Heat who had never gotten one got to ride Wade's coattails to this one. I don't really like Payton, either, but the guy's had a heck of a career and a ring is deserved. Now give an honorary one to Malone.

i still think that the refs bail him out too much, but you're right, he's pretty unflappable.

Gotta appreciate that "people" and "white trash" are different....
congrats to the heat, best team (money can buy, and then---nothing less can be said about Dallas' Cowboys) All hail the kings!

Now Wade's got a ring he's gonna get crazy ref-protection in every single postseason for the next ten years. It's not gonna be pretty.

the only dudes on the heat i'm glad got a ring are payton, walker, wade and zo. williams, i could care less about, though that pass to mourning for that dunk was pretty sick.

and of course i'm glad shaq got another one WITHOUT kobe. he must be kicking himself right now.

Hey, he is Jordan. That foul that they called on Novitzky in the last minute was laughable. Wade drives left, throws forearm into Dirk's chest, foul on you, Dirk.

Jordan was innovative, while the Stones -- though i don't question their greatness -- were not.

The guy I'm most happy for is Alonzo Mourning.

I used to love that Hornets team with him, Larry Johnson, Mugsy Bogues, and Kendall Gill.

After what he went through to get back to playing how can you not root for that guy.

Congrats to the Heat. They were better. The Mavs have no one to blame but themselves. Game 3, up 13 with 6:30 to go and you blow it. If they win that game the series is all but over. The Mavs got hosed by officials and David Stern in the next 2 games but they shouldn't have been in the position to be hosed in the first place.

This all just reminds me of how bad the Hawks are that if the rumor is true that we're thinking of drafting Sheldon Williams with the 5th pick I may go murder Billy Knight (Hawks GM)
