...is too good. Really. It's ridiculous.

The Magnetic Fields
The 6ths
Future Bible Heroes
The Gothic Archies
his solo stuff

It's all insane. I watched a movie called Pieces Of April tonight just because he scored it. Despite starring Katie Holmes, it was pretty decent.

And I finally ordered the 69 Love Songs box set off eBay because I've wanted it forever and can't find it in stores anywhere around here. Not even in Toronto.

Not all of them. I have a dozen or so downloaded and each one stuns me.

That is horrible news.

Their last album, i, is really good. As are tracks I've heard off earlier releases. Most notably, I am becoming obsessed with "Born On A Train".

I did like that movie a lot and have been trying to figure out what song is played towards the very end of the movie where everyone is back at the apartment having Thanksgiving with the Chinese neighbors. I don't think its on 69 Love Songs or i. I tried to find it by downloading some tunes off the soundtrack, but none of them were it. Have an idea what I'm talking about?

you know, I appreciate his body of work but I really just cannot stand his voice. I don't know why. I SHOULD love him. And yet, I don't.

I think it might actually be on 'Pieces of April'. Is it 'You You You You You'?

Well I didn't download that one, so I will check it out and let you know. Thanks, P-diddy.

Yeah, I believe it was either "You You You You You" by the 6ths. Off their Hyacinths & Thistles album.

Or "One April Day" by Stephin Merritt, written exclusively for the movie.

Of course, the 6ths are Merritt. And Pieces of April has its own soundtrack, coincidentally called 'Pieces Of April'

I know. But if you searched for "The Magnetic Fields - You You You You You", you might not find anything. If you search for the 6ths, you probably will.
