GOOD GOD IT'S HOT HERE!

It's only facking JUNE!

We're supposed to get up to 97 today and with 40% humidity it might as well be 110.

This is the time of year where just walking to your car in the parking lot you start sweating.

I guess the dog days are here..........time to start spending more time next to bodies of water.

We get the occasional gulf breeze down here, but in Monty, its Country Hot.

Got the AC on Blast, and the condensation on the windows.

I wish we needed A/C, but alas ambient temperatures here are approaching that level sans machine.

What with the rains, it's looking unseasonably cool this week. The high I see in the 6 day forecast is only 95. It'll get there, though, it'll get there.

We don't know where to look. Er... I don't know where to look. Deena on the other hand is supremely informed.

I believe we're getting into A-TX tomorrow around 2 p.m.

When it real hot here, I start to sweat as soon as I've gotten out of the shower. It's annoying.

No homebrew in the fridge, but we'll get something good. I have band practice in my living room at 7PM, and need to pick up the guitarist at 6:30, so we could either wait until after or eat early - we'll do both going out and cooking in while you guys are here, no doubt about that. Maybe I can have you help me bottle some beers while you are here, too, and we can start up another batch or two of booze. I'll introduce you to a couple of my ladies, too.

You and Deena can have my king-sized - I'll use my air mattress or some other woman's bed while y'all are here. When are you staying until?

It was 98 outside when I just got in my truck.

Not too bad though. I try and soldier through the heat until it its triple digits.

I just wish it would facking rain. No amount of irrigation can sustain life in this dryness.

Leave Sunday...

get your wish list menu together and decide which harem member will dine at each meal. Also, please give them Hello My Name Is stickers so we don't call them by the wrong name.

And we're fine with the air mattress, don't bend yourself out of shape over us buddy boy...

I know Sunday, but what time? Remember, Sunday is the day of the skinny dipping party that I go to every week and get sauced with some awesome caver friends. I'll be in touch with the harem and see who is available when - if Sarah isn't working insane doubles (which she probably is), you'll love cooking with her, she's an awesome foodie, too, and does insanely good salads.

And my Texas Southern Hospitality parentage combined with my New England Jewish Mother upbringing leads me to tendencies that would not allow me to sleep properly with you and Deena on my air mattress - YOU GET THE KING SIZED AND YOU WILL LIKE THE KING SIZED, DAMN IT! ;)
