..and this morning I've capped off a massive pain in the ass project, fixed the computer that's been fucked for almost a year, and made the best birthday plans ever for my girlfriend.

I AM REVERSE SAMSON.

the other day i trimmed my sad looking beard and since then i've been an ineffectual nothing. something tells me it's time to get drunk and start a fight with clint, the neo-nazi in a 50's greaser uniform.
I WANNA DANCE.

if you're going for a true red, you'd probably need to lighten your hair first, and then put the red on top of it.

And kudos, Cotton.

I got really pissed a few weeks ago and let a youngster cut my hair instead of my seasoned, wonderful, hot, gay hair stylist. It looks like shit, the red that hot stylist put in it is washing out and I have bright blonde roots.

Hand me a razor...

hey at least your stylist doesn't smoke pot on a regular basis and continually forget what he did to your hair last time. He screws my hair up at least twice a year. I need to find someone new, but it's like breaking up with an old friend. So hard.

edit: oh, and he's straight, so that may be part of the problem.

He doesn't write down the color combination? Or are you talking about the cut vs. color?

I had a straight guy stylist once. Never again. He was completely unreliable.

You're in Portland, right? Try getting Bust, Bitch, or Venus magazine and see if any interesting stylists are advertising in there. Maybe you'll find someone new.

I knew a girl from South Dakota that shaved her head, once. Don't know why, still. She's grown it back out, though -- and it's amazing.

That's really funny, cos the dude who cuts Femgar's hair is the same. Cool dude, actually, but he keeps shortening it, and also keeps changing the highlights.

I did, however accompany her to said Salon, and some little chick-a-dee gave me possibly the finest hair cut I've ever had, except that it is a LITTLE longish. But that's fine, I'd rather have it longer than shorter. I will be going back, though...they will even give you a fine cocktail and stuff like that.

Yeah, I pay a bit more to get my Open Billy/Luke Skywalker cut done at the Say-lon these days.

I been doin' it since 1995.
And I still have the same clippers I bought 11 years ago.

I trimmed mine last night. I used to cut it myself all the time when it was short. Now it's getting longish. It was pretty dumb of me to trim it myself. Doesn't look bad or "wrong", just really boring. :(

blah. well at least I'm not alone in my bad hair day.

well to be fair it's not shaved, just really, really, short. Although I've been playing that first Malkmus record and that Yul Brynner clip that goes in there. Awesome.

and as far as the date night I have planned: here, here, here, and then of course, here. which reminds me I need to get flowers, too.
