I get the urge to do this often, but I know that I will not only completely screw it up, but there is a good chance of me stabbing myself in the eye with the scissors, too. I am that much of a klutz. So instead I just give myself unnatural colored streaks. Much more fun. Much messier.

Yeah, I actually didn't do too bad of a job. It just looked kinda boring.
Ended up going to the hairdresser to change it.
