Speaking of 28 Days Later

It remains one of my favorite movies of all time. Thus, I have impossibly high hopes for this movie. Despite the asshat from the fantastic four movie.

The film once again pairs director Danny Boyle with writer Alex Garland and producer Andrew Macdonald, who previously teamed up for the thinking person's zombie film, 28 DAYS LATER.

The cast is led by Rose Byrne (TROY), Cliff Curtis (WHALE RIDER), Chris Evans (FANTASTIC FOUR), Troy Garity (AFTER THE SUNSET), Cillian Murphy (28 DAYS LATER), Hiroyuki Sanada (THE LAST SAMURAI), Benedict Wong (DIRTY PRETTY THINGS) and Michelle Yeoh (CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON).

i'm just waiting for radiohead and steven spielberg to write a script for jack black so that i can just attend the movie theatre with a morphine drip and die happily.

Did you know it takes concrete 28 days to reach it's maximum strength?

(Well, it's almost its maximum strength because concrete is continually curing, it just slows down parabolically. The 28 days really refers to it reaching it's design strength for being able to support the design loads.)

This does seem pretty damn cool. I didn't realize Danny Boyle was so old. haha.

I loved 28 Days Later. Thought the film was great, so hopefully this one will be just as good.
