Off to a job interview, high school choir.

Then I assume we will drink.

Sonic Youth is tonight at Stubb's but I can't find ticket prices.

you should tell every member of the harem you meet that Colin has a married internet girlfriend and they shouldn't get "too attached"

I'm jealous.

Phil, how are you taking the heat down there? That's one thing everyone keeps warning me about; the unrelenting temps of july-sept.
Since you're coming from the midwest, you've got similar blood and can gauge it well.

Go see any show you can @ Stubb's. Love that place.

Have fun, boys (and girl). And good luck on the interviews.

Having fun so far . . .

Phil's interview lasted about 2 and a half hours so I think that's a good sign. Right now he is emailing them more information they requested.

I'm going to start shopping for a house . . .

Back to the house - Phil had a two and a half hour job interview, and I drove Deena around the Jollyville area of Austin, showing her a few places where I do salamander field work (okay, more like I'd pull into a subdivision and say "There's salamanders back there in the canyons behind the $250,000 houses that are having zillions of gallons of pesticide sprayed on them right in front of our eyes"). We're going to go get my bass amp fixed for a party tomorrow night - and probably will buy me a new one and maybe a sansamp pedal if we find one priced right. After that, we'll go get some dinner and lots and lots of drinks with "harem girl #3" (where did they come up with that?) and eventually will come back here to monger and start again tomorrow.

Oh yeah - Deena and I saw 6 bucks with racks hanging out with one doe while we were driving . . . turned to each other and said something to the effect of "guess who's about to get railed!"

Glad to hear it sounds like The Darknesses are moving to A-TX! You two will be a VERY WELCOME addition to the Texas Obner Family!!!

Now, if we could just get Chad to move down here, and convince other geographic malcontents like Jon and Stacey to call Tejas home, we'd really be onto something!

Certainly, but I'm not sure that would help you get on your feet . . .
