seriously, its true when they say you can really up your productivity with two monitors. plus, its awesome.

I edit on dualies and it rocks. The downfall is, when I come home and try to edit on a single it takes some getting used to.

I don't get how people work with 2 monitors, but I have never tried it.

More screen real estate than God himself. It allows you to edit on one screen and preview on another, or work on one screen and watch a movie on the other, or edit two items simultaneously. Pretty essential for people working in print, photo, movie and music editing.

it doesnt work very well in my opinion......

i can only see the use if i am playing a movie or soemthing in one and doing work in the other......

It's standard in any kind of professional design/production/editing studio. I've gotten so used to it at work that I had to get two at home. Both of them hi-def. Sadly, I haven't used them for much real work, but I find working on a single monitor - even a large one - to be pretty painful.
