I know quite a few people who don't do it even when they have one of those systems in their car that makes a beeping noise every 2 minutes if they don't have their seat belt on. I mean, it's the law in most places and it can save your life.

Not to be overly weighty, but a seatbelt did pretty much save my life in 2000. Flipping a car three times and hitting a tree at like 80 mph, I'd'a been in another county (and dead) if I weren't buckled in at the time.
