I forgot, she does do a reasonable cover of 'credit in the straight world' by Young Marble Giants on that record, me favorite band in the world.

That's just it. Who's the worse parent? The whackjob mom or the dad who kills himself, knowing he'll be leaving his infant daughter with only the whackjob mom to take care of her?

Neither of them are/were ideal parents, one of them had a serious affective disorder compounded by heroin addiction while the other seems to be a borderline/narcisistic personality disorder with polydrug addiction. So, if anything goes wrong with the daughter, genetics are probably more culpable as she's the product of two really screwed up individuals.

At the end of the day, I don't really give a fuck if they were both real shitheads or not. I like the music Courtney's made.
